Unknown petroleum product causing blackouts in Burlingame as businesses continue to struggle

I feel so bad for those business owners, you know like my school's student council president, Rachel, she has a small cafe in the campus and it's always packed with students looking for study breaks 🤦‍♀️. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to lose thousands of dollars due to power outages 😓. I think PG&E should really speed up the process of removing the petroleum product and identifying its source, it's just not fair to the small businesses that are already struggling 🙄. And yeah, I guess those additional safety checks might seem like a hassle, but at least they're taking steps to ensure everything is safe again 💡. Maybe we can learn from this experience and support our local businesses more? We should totally organize a fundraiser or something for them 🎉

🤦‍♀️ I feel so bad for those business owners in Burlingame! I mean, can you imagine having a big event to get through and still not having power? It's like they're being strung along 🙄. And with the additional cost of hiring a private electrician, it's just too much on top of all their stress already 😩. Small businesses are already struggling as it is, and this just adds fuel to the fire 🔥. I hope PG&E can get things sorted out ASAP so these owners can at least focus on getting back to normal 🕒️. And that's great news about the Business Improvement District offering support - they should totally be commended for that 💯

🤯 This power outage thingy in Burlingame is just ridiculous 💥. I mean, who expects a mysterious petroleum product to be leaking into their electrical vaults? 🚮 It's like something out of a movie! And now businesses are having to pay extra for some private electrician to make sure it's safe to use their equipment? That's just not right 🤑. I feel for the owners, Lucy and Calvin, they're already losing so much money. The thing is, it's not just about them, it's about all the little shops like theirs that are struggling to stay afloat. 🤗 Maybe PG&E could've done something to prepare for this sort of thing? Just saying... 😒

Ugh, this is so frustrating 🤦‍♀️! I mean, I get it, safety first and all that, but come on PG&E! Can't they just hook up the generators already? 🚧 This is killing small businesses in Burlingame, and it's not fair to the owners who are struggling to keep their heads above water. $12k lost, dude 💸 That's a lot of money for a mom-and-pop shop like Lucy Dul's LaGuna Florist. And what about all the employee salaries that went unpaid? 🤝 It's just not right.

I'm glad the Burlingame Business Improvement District is stepping in to help, but it's a shame it had to get to this point. Can't we just have some reliable power without having to worry about private electricians showing up on the scene? 🙄

I dont get why PG&E is being so strict about safety checks after they can't even figure out what caused the power outages in the first place 🤔💡. Theres a lot of uncertainty for these small business owners who are already losing a ton of money from the outages. The fact that they're having to hire some private electrician just adds more stress and costs to an already tough situation 💸📊. I feel bad for Lucy Dul and Calvin Wang, they sound like really dedicated entrepreneurs who deserve some help from PG&E rather than getting hit with extra expenses 🤕💕

Ugh 😩 I feel so bad for those business owners in Burlingame! I've been there with my own family's bakery, trying to keep everything afloat during unexpected power outages or equipment failures. It's like, one day you're thriving, the next day you're struggling to stay afloat 🤯. And on top of that, PG&E is asking for an additional safety check? That just puts more weight on their shoulders 💔. I hope they can get this sorted out soon and that those business owners can get back to serving up delicious food and drinks 🍴👌. The Burlingame Business Improvement District's offer of support is a nice gesture, but it should be enough to help them recover from these losses ⏰.
