"I'm not mad at you": ICE officer's video shows Renee Nicole Good's last words

A Disturbing Footage from a Fatal Shooting: "I'm Not Mad at You"

A chilling video obtained by CNN has shed new light on the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, an innocent woman who was killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis. The footage, recorded by Officer Jonathan Ross on his phone, shows the final moments of Good's life as she attempted to leave her car, which was blocking part of the road.

As Ross approaches the vehicle, Good calmly tells him, "That's fine dude. I'm not mad at you." However, just a few seconds later, another officer instructs her to "get out of the f**king car," further escalating the tense situation. Good then reverses her car and moves forward, prompting Officer Ross to yell out "whoa" before firing three gunshots.

The video captures the SUV's barrel-like movement as it accelerates away from the direction of the officers. The sound of someone calling Good a derogatory term is also heard after the shots are fired.

In response to this disturbing footage, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) officials announced on Friday that they would not be conducting a joint investigation with the FBI, citing concerns about transparency and access to evidence. Attorney General Mary Moriarty emphasized the need for local investigators to take the lead in ensuring justice and truth.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem disputed this decision, stating that the BCA lacks jurisdiction over the investigation. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey criticized the move, calling it a "power play" by the Trump administration, and accused them of already having made up their minds on the case.

As tensions rise, local officials are urging anyone with information or video footage to submit it to the Hennepin County Attorney's office. While some may question the necessity of a local investigation, Moriarty emphasized that transparency is essential in building trust with the community.

With the FBI removing physical evidence from the scene, an independent investigation will be challenging to conduct. The Good family and advocates for justice are now left to wait and see how this case unfolds, hoping for answers and accountability for Renee Nicole Good's tragic death.

What's going on with these investigations?! First they say no joint FBI-BCA probe, then the SecHomeland Sec says BCA lacks jurisdiction... it's like they're playing some kinda game πŸ€”. I'm worried about transparency here - if we can't trust our local authorities to get this right, how can we expect justice for Renee Good? And what's with all these power plays from politicians? Can't we just focus on finding out what happened and making sure it never happens again? 😞

πŸ€• u think its weird that they dont wanna collab w/ FBI on dis case? seems like a pretty clear cut case of police brutality 2 me πŸš”πŸ’€. dont get me wrong, transparency is key, but cant we all just try 2 have a little faith in our law enforcement officials 2 do whats right? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ this whole thing just feels like more politics than justice πŸ‘₯πŸ“

πŸ€” u know what's really sad about this footage? not just that renee got killed but also the fact that she was still calm & tryna avoid conflict πŸ˜” meanwhile these cops are all like "get outta my way" or whatever 🚫 it's like they were more worried about being right than trying to resolve things peacefully πŸ’” i feel bad for her fam too, they deserve answers πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I don’t usually comment but... I'm really shook by this footage 🀯. It's clear that things escalated way too quickly in that situation. The fact that Officer Ross yelled out "whoa" right before firing those shots is insane 😱. And the derogatory term they used afterwards? That's just disgusting. I think it's super reasonable that the Minneapolis Mayor and Attorney General are speaking out against the BCA's decision to not involve the FBI πŸ€”. Transparency is key here, especially when you're dealing with a case like this where innocent people have lost their lives πŸ’”. The fact that the FBI has already removed evidence from the scene makes it even harder for an independent investigation to take place 😩. I just hope the Good family gets some answers and justice soon πŸ™.

πŸ€• this is so messed up I cant even think of what to say the fact that they had footage on their phones is just insane and the way officer ross reacted is just inhumane πŸš” how can you be so quick to pull the trigger over a woman trying to leave her car it's just not right

πŸ˜” This whole situation is just so messed up... I mean, can you even believe an innocent woman like Renee was killed by a law enforcement officer? It's like, what's the protocol here? πŸ˜• Officer Ross's reaction was super over-the-top and it's clear he was already having a bad day. That "derogatory term" in the background is just another layer of pain for her family... 🀯 And now, with the BCA not collaborating with the FBI, I'm worried that justice won't be served soon enough. The community needs answers, and it's frustrating to see the politicians playing politics over this. πŸ™„ Can we just focus on finding out what really happened here? πŸ˜”

πŸ˜” my heart is breaking thinking about what happened to Renee... it sounds like she was just trying to leave and didn't deserve that kind of treatment... πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ the footage is so unsettling, you can feel the tension and fear in that moment... πŸ€• i'm so angry on her behalf, but at the same time, i don't want to see anyone else get hurt because of systemic issues... πŸ’” it's like they're already making decisions before they even have all the facts... πŸ™„ i just wish we could speed up justice and make sure those responsible are held accountable... πŸ•°οΈ this whole thing is so frustrating and sad... 😒

πŸ€” This is really disturbing footage... I mean, I'm not surprised that it was recorded by the officer himself, but still. The woman's calm demeanor before she gets yelled at is just heartbreaking πŸ™. And then to see her car moving like that and someone calling her a derogatory term after the shots are fired... it's just awful 😷.

I do think it's understandable that the BCA officials don't want to conduct a joint investigation with the FBI, given all the scrutiny this case is getting πŸ“°. But at the same time, not doing an FBI-led investigation might raise some eyebrows too πŸ‘€. Secretary Noem seems right in disputing the BCA's jurisdiction on this one, but it's hard to say without knowing more about what's going on behind the scenes 🀐.

What I do hope is that whoever has information or footage comes forward and shares it with the Hennepin County Attorney's office πŸ’¬. This family deserves some answers and justice for Renee Nicole Good πŸ˜”.

πŸ€• I'm seriously shook by this footage... like, how can we even allow this kind of thing to happen? πŸš” The woman just tries to calm everything down with "I'm not mad at you" but then it escalates into a full-blown gun fight... and for what? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ It's so frustrating that the BCA won't be working with the FBI, I feel like transparency is key in cases like this. And what's up with the derogatory term being shouted after the shots are fired? 😑 That just adds another layer of trauma to an already traumatic situation. 🚫 Can we please just make sure justice is served and Renee Nicole Good's memory isn't forgotten? πŸ’”

🀬 What's goin on with these BCA people? They're tryin to cover up the truth behind that innocent woman's death like they're tryna protect somethin', but from what, exactly? The FBI's already takin care of the physical evidence, so it's not like they got nothin' left to hide. And now the mayor's gettin all upset 'cause some high-ranking official is tryin to micromanage a case that should be handled by the people involved. πŸ™„ It's like, chill out, guys, and focus on gettin answers for Renee's family instead of playin politics. πŸ˜”

OMG 🀯 is this real life?! I'm literally shaking thinking about that poor woman's last moments... like why did the officer freak out so much?! 😲 I feel for her family, it's just not right... and what's up with these officials all over each other? πŸ™„ Like, can't they just work together to figure out what happened? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ The fact that the BCA is saying they don't need an FBI investigation because of transparency issues is so weird... shouldn't that be a good thing?! πŸ€”

Man... this is just so sad πŸ€•. It's hard to believe what happened to Renee Good. I feel for her family and loved ones who have to go through this. The fact that the footage shows Officer Ross yelling at her before firing shots just makes it even more chilling 😱.

I don't think either side is right here - the BCA saying they need to take the lead in the investigation, or Kristi Noem saying the BCA doesn't have jurisdiction over the case. It's like they're both trying to cover their own backsides πŸ™ˆ.

What I do know is that transparency and accountability are key here. If we want to rebuild trust with our communities, we need to make sure that investigations like this one get done properly and fairly. The Good family deserves justice for Renee, no matter how long it takes πŸ’”.

And can we please take a step back from the politics and party lines for once? This is about one innocent woman's life being lost, not about anyone's agenda or ideology πŸ™. We should be focusing on finding out what happened here, not who's to blame or who got what...

πŸ€• this is insane...ice officer gets gunshots after innocent woman is killed trying to leave her car πŸš—πŸ’¨. whats wrong with these people? πŸ™„ and now its a power play by trump admin? πŸ€₯ just bring justice to Renee's family already πŸ’”

I'm really disturbed by what happened to Renee Good πŸ€•... I mean, can you believe she was just calmly saying "I'm not mad at you" and then BAM! Three gunshots? It's like, what's going on with these officers, right? The fact that the BCA isn't even going to work with the FBI is pretty shady too. I get where they're trying to keep it local, but come on, transparency is key here πŸ™„... and now we're just waiting to see how this all plays out. I hope the Good family gets some justice soon πŸ’”...
