This move comes after two students used the devices to cheat in separate English proficiency exams in May, with their scores invalidated and four year suspensions from taking the test.
Reports of cheating using smart glasses are not unique to South Korea. Taiwan, Japan, and China have also strengthened measures against this type of cheating.
