A New Blueprint for Delhi's Aging Colonies The Master Plan for Delhi 2047 has sent shockwaves through the city's older planned colonies, where residents are being given a chance to revitalize their aging neighborhoods.
The plan's "regeneration" framework proposes allowing residents to pool properties and redevelop residential areas as larger, more cohesive projects.
According to the plan, redevelopment will require a minimum of 3,000 square meters of land, with existing plots allowed to be merged or reconstituted to meet this requirement.
