Four survivors of Bristol nursing home explosion sue facility's operator, PECO for negligence

The recent explosion at a nursing home in Bristol left 4 survivors with physical and emotional scars 🤕, and they're fighting for justice by taking PECO & Saber Healthcare to court 💼. It's heartbreaking to think about the wheelchair of Barbara Sall being destroyed in the fire 🔥, and the fact that James Broderick, Stacy Ballard, & Davidetta Blay have to deal with injuries that'll affect them for the rest of their lives is just devastating 😔.

What really gets me is how PECO was on site investigating a gas leak when the explosion happened 🚨, but they still didn't take action in time ⏱️. If only they had addressed those complaints from residents about a gas smell in the days leading up to the blast 👀, maybe we wouldn't have this tragedy today.

The lawsuit also brings up some concerning issues with Saber Healthcare's safety measures 💡. A state inspection report had already identified problems like faulty stairways, fire extinguishers, & smoke barrier partitions 🚧... it just goes to show that they weren't prioritizing the well-being of their residents as much as they should've been ❤️.

The survivors' lawyer is right in saying that this tragedy was "foreseeable and preventable" 🤦‍♂️, and it's our hope that justice is served for these 4 brave individuals who're fighting to make PECO & Saber Healthcare accountable for their actions 💪.

omg, cant believe this happend 2 those ppl 🤯... PECO & Saber Healthcare Group gotta take responsibility 4 their actions (or lack thereof)!! They knew about a gas leak & didnt address it, now people r paying the price 😔... staffin & training issues are huge here too - how can u not ensure basic life safety protocols r in place? 🤷‍♀️... survivors deserve justice & compensation 4 their trauma... hope they win this lawsuit & get the help they need 💪

Ugh, this is just so heartbreaking 🤕... I mean, can you even imagine living in a nursing home and feeling like nobody cares about your safety? These survivors are going through so much, and now they're having to sue the companies that are supposed to be looking out for them. It's like, basic life safety protocols should be a no-brainer, right? Like, what kind of facility doesn't have functioning fire extinguishers or working smoke detectors? 🚒💡

I feel for Barbara Sall and everyone else who was affected by this explosion. It's just so senseless 💔... And the fact that PECO was on site but didn't notice the gas leak until it was too late is just, like, totally unacceptable 😴... I mean, I know accidents can happen, but this one seems pretty avoidable.

I'm definitely rooting for the survivors and their lawyer, Robert Mongeluzzi. They're fighting for justice, and that's what matters 💪... And hopefully, this lawsuit will lead to some real changes in how these facilities are run and how they prioritize resident safety 🤞

🤔 like what's going on here? I mean, I'm glad the survivors are getting medical treatment and all, but shouldn't PECO have done something about that gas leak before it was too late? Like, how hard is it to fix a leak in a gas pipe? And Saber Healthcare, they're just kinda... ignoring safety protocols? 🤷‍♀️ That's not right. And 20 people got hurt, including three who didn't make it? That's devastating. I hope the lawsuit can prove that there was negligence involved and hold these companies accountable. It's like, you gotta be responsible for your own facilities, you know? Can we just get to the bottom of what happened here? 💡
