Public urged to grow unusual plants to safeguard diversity of UK blooms

OMG, you guys! 🤯 I'm literally heartbroken to hear that all these gorgeous, unique flower varieties are basically disappearing from our UK gardens 🌼😢 It's like, what's the point of having a garden if it just looks the same as everyone else's? 😴 I mean, don't get me wrong, those generic ones sold at garden centres are fine, but where's the fun in that? 🙄

I'm loving this idea from Plant Heritage to start our own national collections of rare plants tho 💡 We can literally save these babies and share them with others who care about gardening just like us ❤️ I'm totally trying out their propagation tips now 🤔. Can we please all do our part and grow some weird & wonderful flowers? 🌺💚

OMG, it's so sad to hear that all these rare flowers are in danger of disappearing 🌼😱 I mean, who doesn't love a good patch of colorful blooms to brighten up their day? But seriously, we gotta take action and start planting some weird and wonderful things in our gardens. Like, have you ever seen a delphinium or a foxglove in person? They're stunning! 🌺

I've been trying to propagate my own plants for ages now, but it's not always easy 💪. I mean, you gotta be patient and careful when taking cuttings from the parent plant. But trust me, it's worth it. Not only will you have these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind flowers in your garden, but you'll also be helping to preserve their genetic diversity 🌟.

I'm so down for Plant Heritage's show at Chelsea flower show this year! It's gonna be amazing to see all the different species on display 💥. And I love that they're sharing tips and tricks for propagation - it's like they're handing us a map to save these precious plants 🗺️. Let's get gardening, people!

🌼💔 The way people shop at garden centres is really starting to get out of hand... generic varieties are everywhere 🤯. Can't we all just try a few different plants from time to time? It's not that hard, and it would actually help keep things interesting around here 🌺
