You know, it's funny how Aussie teams always bring up the future when it comes to big competitions like the Ashes... 2027 feels like a pretty long way off but I reckon McGrath's right, they need to start building for that tour now. And honestly, after their performance in this series, I think they've got a real chance of getting it done - they showed some great character and team spirit. One thing that did strike me was how important the bowlers were - McGrath's right on about them being key to success, but also just having a solid lower order and decent fielding makes all the difference. Don't get me wrong, England had some good moments, but ultimately they looked like they were playing without any real mental toughness...
think australia's gonna dominate england in 2025 too, mate... been saying it for ages they've got the talent, the team spirit & that mental toughness is key, ain't no one gonna give up on pat cummins or steve smith just 'cause it's england 2027 might be more realistic tho, like McGrath said... those aussies'll be lookin' to make a statement, maybe even go for the whitewash
