Trump promises oil executives 'total safety' if they invest in Venezuela after Maduro ouster

the whole thing seems kinda shady 🤔. Trump is basically saying he'll protect these oil companies but I'm not sure if that's just a way to get them invested in the country without actually doing anything about the politics and corruption 😐. it feels like they're trying to fill their pockets with all that $100 billion 💸, and meanwhile Maduro gets ousted and there's no real plan for how he'll be held accountable or anything 🤷‍♂️.

So Trump is saying that if you invest in Venezuela, we'll protect you and stuff... but I'm not sure how that works. Like, what exactly does he mean by "total safety"? Is there gonna be armed guards on the oil rigs or something? And how do they know this is all gonna work out without Maduro being in charge anymore?

I don't get why Trump is pushing for this so hard. Isn't it a bit suspicious that he's trying to convince oil companies to invest in Venezuela just because he wants to get his hands on some of that oil money? It sounds like he's more interested in lining his own pockets than actually helping the country.

And what about the people living in Venezuela? I mean, they're already struggling big time. Do we really think throwing a bunch of money at the oil industry is gonna solve all their problems? It just seems like another way for the US to exert its influence over another country... 🤔💸
