What is Chavismo – and is it dead after US abduction of Venezuela’s Maduro?

🤔 Maduro's abduction is just the beginning of the end for Chavismo. The US might have dealt a blow but it won't bring about a swift demise. Venezuela needs a new direction, one that focuses on rebuilding economy and human rights 🌎. The days of empty promises are over, time to move forward 💡

I think Chavismo is already a shadow of its former self. Maduro's rule has been super authoritarian and it's hard to see how that can coexist with the original ideology of bringing in marginalized groups. The US trying to impose their will on Venezuela isn't helping either... 🤔 I mean, can you imagine if someone came into your home and told you who should run things? Not a great look for Chavismo or Venezuela as a whole. They need some serious reforms and a new direction before they can even think about revisiting the old ideology. It's all about human rights and democracy at this point... 👎

I'm like totally surprised the US would try to kill off Chavismo. Like, isn't that just more imperialism? I mean, Chavez was all about resisting US influence and promoting social justice, so it's weird they'd even think of messing with him.

But for real, I think Chavismo is way more resilient than people give it credit for. The fact that Maduro's been in power for so long says a lot about the ideology's staying power. And let's be real, the US isn't exactly known for its commitment to democracy and human rights, so this whole thing just looks like another attempt to prop up a puppet regime.

I'm not saying Chavismo can't evolve or adapt – it already has in some ways, right? But trying to just "kill" it off with some US abduction? That's just laughable. The people of Venezuela need real change, not some US-backed fake revolution.
